Copyright & Creativity
Resources for Teaching Copyright and Fair Use

This week, I explored a resource that aligns with our discussion about digital citizenship–Copyright & Creativity. It's a resource that helps teachers and school librarians teach copyright and fair use in a way that’s easy to understand for all grade levels.

Named one of American Association of School Librarians' (AASL) Best Digital Tools for Teaching & Learning for 2021, Copyright & Creativity is a one stop shop for teaching copyright and fair use. Educators can find grade specific curriculum for students, kindergarten to 12th grade. Each grade levels has curriculum that includes videos and supplemental materials like lesson plans, infographics, and posters.

Copyright & Creativity also provides professional development resources for educators. The 'Professional Development for Teachers' section of the website has office hours, live and on demand trainings, webinars, and a library of additional resources.
